Whats an axolotl?

Axolotls are a wonderful salamander found in only one lake in Mexico. We have beautiful feathery gills, adorable smiles and most amazingly we can regrow any body part that is cut off! Im a bit different than most of my kin though. I have three Phds, six Masters of Science, and a Doctorate of the Arts. Thats why they call me the Academic Axolotl! I may only be 9 inches tall, but Id be happy to share my knowledge with you! Join me on an interactive journey into the wonderful world of science, nature, math, history and art.
